1st Annual YoLow Family Reunion!

What a wonderful weekend it was. In Fishlake Utah. My favorite place in Utah. Where I spent most of my summers growing up and where my mother was raised. We had a great time together, we just missed Zack and Robyn but were so grateful for how wonderful our sacrifice and hard planning came into place for the food , laughter and memories. I can't wait until next years reunion and each year after that. Thank you kids... You are amazing. All of you!

Well, kinda catching up on this blog. Oh I was going to do so good... yah well... LOL. my computer is down at home. Well it is at Josh's house being repaired, so I am at Jennie's house for a minute. I have not had time but today is the day.

I had a visit out of the blue to my house almost 2 weeks ago one afternoon around 4:30 from Zack and Robyn. I answered the door and asked. Who died? They said oh mom we came to cheer you up. I had my suspicions but didn't say anything they appeared very happy. We went out to my deck and Robyn put her arm around me and asked me when I was going to finish the "baby" dresser that was mine as a little girl and (I promised them many years ago I would give to them) .... the tears welled up.. I asked. Are you pregnant... they both grinned and I cried and cried. Are you sure? And yes. I am getting a new grandbaby in Janurary. My kids had all but given up trying for so many years and the news is great. ZACK AND ROBYN ARE EXPECTING !!!!!

I held a casual dinner a couple days later at Jens and kept my mouth shut(which was so hard) so they could annouce to all siblings and grandpa at the same time. It was a very special moment when Zack told grandpa that for what would have been mom and dads 55 anniversary he had a very special present and my dad said oh I don't like you buying me presents.. When Zack announced it was a baby coming I cried. Shonni jumped up and down. Jen was beside herself with joy as so were Josh, Colby and Kaci. And their family story begins...... And we all want them to have twins ! We will keep you posted..
